Yep, it's time. We've missed you. We've missed our gardens. We're ready to get back out there and make spring happen in a grand fashion this year.
Our February hours:

Design Consultation Services
Treat yourself or someone you love to the gift of professional garden design.
Our design services start with a basic consultation package for $300 that includes a 90-minute on-site consultation with our designer, site analysis, plant recommendations, and a $100 gift certificate to G*H to purchase plants and garden supplies.
You can build on this basic consultation package by adding extra services - such as sketches, hardscape design, and installation - for an hourly rate.

 | | Rhododendron x 'Hilda Niblett'Evergreen azalea from the Robin Hill collection. Small, green, elliptical leaves. Overall habit is low and spreading but remains compact and tidy. Soft pink to rose, 4 flowers emerge in early spring through early summer. An exceptionally long-blooming azalea!
Makes a great evergreen addition to the front of the border, spilling out of containers, or as a shrubby groundcover.
Grows 1-2 tall x 3-4 wide.
Morning sun and afternoon shade is best. Needs protection from afternoon sun in summer.
Amended, moist but well-drained soil and average water needs once established.

Rhododendron 'Calsap'An evergreen, heat-tolerant rhodie that actually thrives in the Deep South! Large, dark green, elliptical leaves provide a dramatic presence all year long. Parentage is R. 'Catalgla' and R. 'Sappho'.
Dramatic formal white flowers with a purple flare on the upper lobe appear in early spring. Deadhead to promote vigor.
Equally at home in the cottage, woodland ,or Japanese garden.
Grows 4-5 tall and wide.
Part sun to part shade. More direct morning sun promotes a denser habit. Still needs protection from afternoon sun in summer.
Amended, moist but well-drained soil and average water needs once established.

 | | Rhododendron 'Abby's Re-View'Re-blooming (really!) Rhododendron.
An evergreen, heat-tolerant rhodie that actually thrives in the Deep South! Small, dark green, elliptical leaves provide a dramatic presence all year long. Offspring of Rhododendron PJM.
Double, lavender-pink flowers in spring and then a second flush in early fall.
Equally at home in the cottage, woodland, or Japanese garden.
Grows 6-8 tall and wide.
Part shade to shade.
Amended, moist but well-drained soil and average water needs once established.

Rhododendron x 'Girard's Crimson'This Girard introduction evergreen azalea is a true showstopper. Small, shiny green leaves take on copper and maroon tones after the first frost and last through winter.
Brilliant rose to crimson, medium-sized flowers completely cover the shrub for about four weeks in spring.
This is a great addition to the mixed border because of its eye-catching foliage in winter.
Grows 3-4 tall and wide.

 | | Rhododendron x 'My Mary'Dark green leaves. Deciduous. Amazing bright yellow trusses of flowers with red floral tubes. Fragrant! Blooms April-May. Gorgeous dotted here and there through a woodland garden. Could be massed as well. 4 tall x 4 wide, perfect for smaller spaces. Site in shade to partial shade and average soil. Named for the wife of Rhododendron hybridizer, George Beasley of Lavonia, GA.

Rhododendron 'Nacoochee Princess'A deciduous native azalea with attractive green foliage from spring through fall and architecturally interesting bare branches in winter. Discovered in the North Georgia mountains by the late George Beasley of Transplant Nursery in Lavonia, GA.
Pink-orange buds open to fragrant, white flowers edged in pink in spring immediately before leafing out.
Plant in mass or as an accent in the woodland garden.
Grows 6-8 tall and wide.
